My name is Jordan Wilson and I am ten years clean and sober. I was raised in a good Christian household and I sprinted from a relationship with the Lord when I was about 18. I wanted to drink and party. Well that lifestyle took over and I quickly became addicted to pain killers. My life spiraled. I was in and out of jail and rehab until I finally surrendered my life to Christ on March 27th of 2016 and that’s my sobriety date. I kept my beginning short because I feel as if we spend too much time talking about the bad part of our stories and not enough time talking about the good part.
The day that I gave my life to Jesus my life really began. I went to drug rehab for my seventh time but I knew it would be different because I knew I had changed! I thrived at that rehab and eventually graduated. I started working for them and started sharing my testimony. When I was one year sober I attended a revival and a preacher who had never seen me called me out of a crowd and told me God wanted me to write a book-my story. He said it would help a lot of people. Well I knew that was something I would eventually do to get obedient to God. I did that a few years later. I eventually got married, had a couple beauty children and then got my dream job where I now serve as the executive director of a Christ centered drug rehab called friends of sinners. We published my book in 2021 and it’s called “Jesus > Drugs.” My book is now in every single jail and prison in the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Wales, and Mexico. My second book is called “How to save a drug addict.” I now travel in and outside of the United States sharing my Jesus story! I now live a life I never could have imagined and it’s all because I was rescued by Jesus Christ.
